CONFERENCE XV - January 7-11, 2008 -
Preparations for the 25th gathering of the Conference of Roman Catholic
Cathedral Musicians in New York City are well underway. Mark your calendars now
for what promises to be an exciting week in the
New York area! We will visit cathedrals in Manhattan, Brooklyn, Rockville
Centre, and Newark, NJ. We are scheduled to visit St. Ignatius Loyola on Park
Avenue and St. Thomas Episcopal on 5th Avenue, attend a closed rehearsal of the
St. Thomas Men and Boys Choir and an open rehearsal of the New York
Philharmonic. Presenters and hosts include Msgr. Kevin Irwin (Catholic
University), Jennifer Pascual (St. Patrick Cathedral),
Joseph Smith
(St. James),
Michael Bower and Michael Wustrow (St. Agnes), and
John Miller (Sacred Heart).
Registration information will be sent to the membership in early September. Come
to NYC in 2008!
